Offering sync 3 upgrades fully customized for your car for a plug and play operation. This will only work if you have Sync 2 with my touch (8 inch screen).
Note: We have received numerous requests to upgrade to in-built navigation post install. Navigation comes handy when there is bad cell coverage or skyscrapers. Unfortunately sync 3 hardware with navigation is different than non navigation. Consider buying in-built navigation if on the fence.
This kit includes:
- OEM Ford Sync 3 APIM Module upgraded to 3.4 version. This is the North American OEM version and not a cheap Chinese knock off – Refurbished.
- OEM Ford screen - You will have to remove the existing brackets from your sync 2 and reuse them. - Refurbished – New Digitizer.
- OEM Connecting cable between APIM and screen. (Used)
- OEM Upgraded USB hub which supports both Apple carplay and Android Auto. (NEW)
- High Quality GPS antenna. (NEW)
- Pigtail that connects the wiring from the current hub to the new hub (If required) (NEW)
- OEM USB hub adapter. This goes around the USB hub if your original hub is the bigger sized one (if required) (NEW)

Purchased this upgrade for my Son’s 2013 Lincoln MKS and it was worth every penny. The screen is very clear, colorful, and it made the backup camera clearer as well. I had to reuse the mounting brackets and hardware from the Sync 2 screen which worked perfectly, and the hardware fit well. Buy it!
My apim was failing on my sync 2 unit this is such a massive upgrade just the CarPlay makes it worth it for me being seemless integration with all oem systems makes it even better
Upgraded because the original Bluetooth module failed, well worth the money wife loves the new interface, the speed and touchscreen sensitivity is so much better.
This kit is completely plug and play. No modification necessary. Great upgrade over the sync 2. The navigation is much nicer than the sync2. Seamless apple carplay integration.
I have a 2017 Mustang with the Sync 3 radio so when I bought my 2015 F-150 by that point I was already spoiled with CarPlay and was devastated about my truck’s antique radio. Ordered the product and it was literally plug n play with no issues with the kit they provided. Installation only took around 30 minutes and climate control, backup camera, and steering buttons worked liked a charm. I’m highly satisfied with my Sync 3 now.
