Got tired of "misnumbered" exits and mystery rotaries (roundabouts) that were missing from the outdated Ford maps.
Never ever liked using voice commands with Sync for inputting addresses.
All Things Sync was easy to order from and arrived in 3 days.
Customer Service was incredible. When I emailed with questions during the installation, I expected a reply in a day, but they responded within minutes and even called me.
Took me a while to figure out how to get Android Auto to do voice navigation and show the maps.
Was concerned that while the navigation was functioning, there was no clear way to return to the Sync home screen. Found out that pressing the "Sound" button on the center console does the trick.
The overall Sync 3 interface is much better.

Everything needed for install was there and functioned flawlessly. Only thing that would have been nice is to have some type of adhesive included for the gps mount. But that is an easy find at basically any store, I just used a Velcro command strip on mine. Could not say enough good things about the customer service and the product. Super fast shipping as well.

My Ford Mustang Sync 3 system was down for some time. Ford quoted me around $1100-1300. The diagnostic fee alone was $200. I reached out via the AI chat box and immediately someone helped me and speculated the API module had gone out because of my symptoms (black screen even on going in reverse, however speakers were working because the sensors were still active when in reverse). At first I was skeptical but decided to give it a shot. The person sent me a link to an installation video and it wasn’t too bad now looking back. Shipping was quick and I was provided shipping information right away. I will be purchasing again if my API goes out.
